Welcome
The City of San Antonio has initiated the preparation of the
North Sector Plan, which once adopted becomes a component
of the City’s Master Plan. The planning process is expected to
be completed in June 2010 and includes an inclusive public
involvement program.
The North Sector is the first of seven sector plans to
be created for the City and its extraterritorial jurisdiction.
The sector plan will function as the long-range guide to the
preferred growth, conservation, and redevelopment of this area
in a comprehensive manner.
The North Sector is generally bounded by: Loop 410,
Grissom Road, and Culebra Road to the south; Loop 1604 and Texas
Highway 16/Bandera Road to the west; the City of San Antonio
extraterritorial jurisdiction boundary to the north; and the
City of San Antonio extraterritorial jurisdiction boundary,
Toepperwein Road and Interstate Highway 35 to the east.
This website is organized in the following manner, as
identified, above:
- Sector Plan Overview - Describes a summary of the
background of the project and its intended deliverables.
- Project Schedule/Meetings - Contains the meeting
schedule and the information that has been distributed at
the Planning Team meetings and public meetings. A total of
seven planning team and two public meetings are anticipated
and are open to the public. We encourage you to attend!
- Documents - Includes the electronic library of
draft documents prepared throughout the duration of the North Sector Planning process.
- Planning Team and City Staff - Identifies
Planning Team members and City of San Antonio Staff who may
be contacted if you have any questions, or require
additional information regarding the North Sector Plan.
